RoHS Compliance
On July 1, 2006, the RoHS Directive was implemented in the EU and was modified on January 3, 2013 (Directive 2011/65/EU).*
EU official journal ((EU)2015/863) announced that the 4 phthalates ** become the addition to a RoHS Directive newly in June, 2015. And 10 substances shall be restricted from July 22, 2019.
Cosel will confirm the existence of 4 phthalates in the product and production process, and shall comply with the new Directive from July, 2018.***

RoHS regulations restrict the use of specified hazardous materials in designated electric/electronic devices sold within the European Union (EU).
As of July 2006 the following six substances are prohibited in products sold in the EU: mercury, cadmium, lead, hexavalent chromium, PBB (polybrominated biphenyl), and PBDE (polybrominated diphenyl ethers) - **4 phthalates
Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP), Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP)
Four substances will be added as an restricted substances of RoHS Directive from July 22, 2019. - ***Except products slated for discontinuation
RoHS certified products are indicated by an 'R' at the end of the lot number (for some models it is indicated by an 'R' in the upper right of the label).
Please confirm the applicable lot number with RoHS Compliance Certificate.
